Bathymetric probe

A bathymetric probe is used to study the topography of the seafloor. In Barcelona, large amounts of sand are moved by storms, causing beaches to gain or lose sand depending on the time of year. The movement of these sandbanks can be studied with this probe.

TD profiler

A temperature profiler is used to determine the temperature of the water column from the surface to the seafloor. Temperature variations are caused by solar radiation, wind or waves.
